we have now lived in Texas for 7 years ( three different cities) In that time we have had one ice storm and one light snowstorm. Well this year in February my kids got to really experience snow. It is quite an event in Texas. It actually snowed all day The only thing I didn't understand was that they did not officially close school they just called everyone mid morning and said they could come pick up their kids if they wanted. I didn't get what that meant. Anyway the kids had a ball playing in the snow.
