For some reason one of my favorite parts of pioneer park was the schoolhouse. We learned more about the education. Even though kids only went to school usually through 8th grade, I guess the curriculum was much harder than we have today. 8th grade was more like our high school. We learned about punishment. If a kid got in trouble the first thing they would have to do is stand with their nose in the corner with their arms behind their back, sometimes holding books behind them. of course they also used a paddle. Celeste of course had to have her turn standing in the corner :)
